We used cutting edge photogrammetry technology for 3D scanning and modeling the shoes and an extensive proprietary workflow for polygon reduction, remeshing and UVing. Client approvals of product models where directly organized via webGL content which gave us direct and detailed feedback possibilities and short turn arounds. The combination of high end art direction and state of the art interactive technology, the integration of the shoes in a zoetrope context and the user integration makes the experience unique. Furthermore the implementation of a sequencer with innovative UI design gives the user the possibility to remix and share her own beat.
Outcome
The main audience were creative influencers (ADs, CDs) and the creative blogosphere. The interactive zoetrope generated a great awareness within this community and in a short time received relevant consideration (FWA, Adobe Cutting Edge Project, etc pp).
