Description

The characters in this film were inspired by the popular and classic Chinese series: ‘The Legend of the Condor Heroes’.

UEUNG YONG, a young female farmer is busy working in a chrysanthemum plantation. Her boyfriend, KOUY, arrives and discovers the harsh effects of the sun on her face. KOUY hands her a bottle of ‘PURIKU’. After consuming the drink, YONG transforms into a stunning lady, causing KOUY to be extremely stunned and surprised by her beauty.

Execution

We launched the campaign with a TVC and online film, then commissioned 5 local Twitter influencers to spread

the catchy hashtag #???????????????? [Pee Nee Ueung Loey Yong]. And to maintain the campaign’s momentum,

we engaged our fans by spreading the hashtag on our Facebook page.

Outcome

#???????????????? [Pee Nee Ueung Loey Yong] was ranked the number one most trending hashtag on Twitter on the very first day.

It not only became a phenomenon on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, on famous online blogs and magazines;

but it even got picked up by Radio stations, TV programs and local drama series – gaining $3.5 million worth of FREE media.

Moreover, the hashtag is still currently being widely used by our target audience as a way to express their surprise in real life situations.

Thank you FDA. Your restriction turned out to be a benefit after all.
