Description
Makeup not only brings woman beauty, but courage. On International Women’s Day, SHISEIDO presents “The Lipstick of Perseverance”, a story depicts the misunderstanding between a mother and her daughter caused by a lipstick. In the end, it resolves into a gentle understanding.
Execution
We executed a micro film and released on FB and Youtube on 3/8, International Women's Day to raise the awareness of female right and erase the gender inequality and prejudice in Taiwan. After the film releasing, we held a charity event in remote areas to ask children to gift single mothers a red lipstick on the Mother’s Day, symbolling to encourage them to keep their perseverance. At the meantime, we even visited the nursing home to paint lipstick on those old ladies and inspire them that being beauty has nothing to do with social status or age, conveying the makeup also stands for courage.
