The Guldbagge Awards (The Swedish Oscar's) is an official and annual Swedish film awards ceremony honoring achievements in the Swedish film industry.

Idea
Guldbaggen's audience prize is a special film prize honouring the best film in Sweden voted by the people.
In previous years, the winners "only" have been awarded a diploma and disappointments have been expressed. Therefore, we wanted to do something extra special for the 2019 winners. So we let the feelings that the winning movie brought out to shape the new statue.
Rebecka, one of the people who had voted on the winning film, watched the film again. While watching the film, her feelings were measured at the EEG lab at Stockholm University. Then a glass artist interpreted the result in a glass ball. The glass ball was then encapsulated in a sculpture created by a metal artist. The feelings for the winning movie were thus forever captured in a statuette.

Outcome
The trophy was a success and will be handed out every year. And now when the special prize has its custom made trophy the "The People's choice" is now something every film director wants to win.
