In a world that is often selfish, that finds it difficult to digest differences, share portions or accept someone else's recipe, food represents hope. While it is true that we are often surrounded by scarcity and misery –suffice it to say how harshly immigrants are discriminated against– it is also true that we are a meal away from changing the world.
