Description

Autogrill is the world’s leading provider of food & beverage for travelers.

In Italy alone there are over 500 points of sale. Mostly on highways.

Autogrill is where Italians stop when they need a good cup of coffee.

Unfortunately, they aren’t always aware they might need one.

Autogrill created the first radio commercial that makes you yawn, to let motorists know that it’s time for a coffee-break.

To be more effective, it was broadcasted at night and early in the morning on the most popular radio stations.

Results

90.000 more coffees served every day while the campaign was on-air.

Execution

Autogrill has created the first radio commercial that makes you yawn, to let motorists know that it’s time for a coffee break. This way suggesting that the first place they will find to have a cup of coffee will be the next Autogrill.

The commercial was hired on RDS 102,5 , Radio DJ, Radio 105, RDS, Radio 1, Radio 2 just to mention the most relevant ones.

To be more effective, whilst saving on media, it was broadcasted at night and early morning on the most popular radio stations.

Outcome

The radio was broadcasted for a total of 3 days. 90,000 more coffees than usual were served each day of on air on the Autogrill network throughout Italy. For a total investment of less than 10,000 Euros.
