Description

Réseau Ferré de France owns and operates the french railway network. Each day, 4 million people use this network - yet only 2% know that it is Réseau Ferré de France that operates it.

Today, as RFF increases its improvement works, travellers are increasingly experiencing inconveniences to their day to day travel; but with no real understanding of what these works will bring. This campaign, a first for Réseau Ferré de France, aims to showcase the company's particular role: that of building tomorrow's network while keeping today's running. The film shows trains running on a track that is constantly being improved: a human hand renews the network's instrasructures without ever interrupting the flow of traffic.

Shot with a tiltshift lense, mixing real life shots with 3D animation and model trains, the film blurs the boundaries between real life and an imaginary model-like world, thereby creating a poetic quality to a subject that is far from glamourous.
