Created to announce a new category for the Tropfest Short Film Festival, called Telstra Mobile Masterpieces. To be eligible, the entry must be shot entirely on a mobile phone.

To illustrate this fact, Tropfest founder John Polson explains the new category to 30 budding young film and television students, which they filmed on their mobile phones.

The result was then posted on the Tropfest website, the Tropfest YouTube site and as an eDM to film enthusiasts.10% of films submitted to Tropfest in 2010 were in the Telstra Mobile Masterpieces category. An astonishing result in its inaugural year.
