TWEET TICKER provides business solutions for CMOs by utilizing data in Twitter. TWEET TICKER visualizes tweets about brands, which CMOs can choose what to see, or social trends on a timeline of a 24 hour circle.

The number of tweets and how brands are Tweeted (positive, negative, or neutral) are shown in real time. CMOs can get to know how their brands are talked and what consumers feel, think, or want by using TWEET TICKER at a glance. For example, a new service is accepted positively or not.

CMOs can set their own keywords, showing tweet data about competitors as well. What’s more, the most relevant tweets about companies are highlighted.

This function is particularly useful in cases of flaming. In such a case, CMOs are needed to respond as soon as possible. TWEET TICKER drastically reduces the time that CMOs take to respond to social opinion.

TWEET TICKER is an adaptation of an existing technology; visualizing tweet data. What's innovative about this new marketing tool are HOW, WHEN, and WHERE the data visualized. To provide information CMOs need, it must be easy to understand, fast, and accessible. Therefore the visual was designed like explained above, and it works 24/7 on a smartwatch. The next steps of TWEET TICKER are public release and extending functionally.

Outcome

TWEET TICKER aims to become an essential tool for CMOs. Development for public release is being planned. For example, optimizing data analyzing for more accurate analysis such as parsing tweets into positive, neutral or negative, and screening out tweets irrelevance to the brands more accurately. Twitter is relevant to all of industries that provide a business to consumer service or product. By using TWEET TICKER, CMOs in those industries can easily access the social trends and brand conditions whenever they make decisions for their marketing businesses. This means, Twitter will be not only one of a way for PR or advertising but also a partner of CMOs. Twitter Japan is holding events for CMOs periodically; TWEET TICKER will be mainly produced there as beta version was.
