Description
In many countries, landmines are still an insidious danger to civilians. That’s what we wanted to show to passers-by in front of the UNICEF information booth to Increase traffic at the booth and get more awareness for the work of UNICEF.
Execution
A special soccer table was placed next to the UNICEF booth. At first glance, it looked unsuspicious and invited people for a free game. But as soon as people started to play, they realised that something was wrong: Most players missed one leg, some even two.
Two messages above the goals clarified: “Thousands of people still become landmine-victims each year.” “Help with your donation. More information at the UNICEF booth.”
Outcome
- Traffic at the booths almost doubled- Amount of donations increased compared to 2006- Stickers will be used at all upcoming UNICEF events in 2008
