Idea

Accidentally missing out on crucial UCL match moments is a very relatable experience. It’s also a deeply personal and dramatic one that leaves you feeling isolated even in the middle of a communal celebration. This is the feeling we wanted to convey through our film. Intimate cinematography, slightly exaggerated performances, and a cinematic language all serve to highlight this personal drama, making these moments more relatable and bringing out the humor in them.

Strategy

Fans often believe that the only matches that matter are the final and the big matchups.

But the truth is that every match can have some incredible moments: big upsets, minnows smashing giants, epic goals.

It’s only when you realize you didn’t watch it live that you regret it.

Our message is clear – every moment of the Champions League is as unmissable as the final and watching live with friends.

Execution

We show the dismay and anguish of fans as they miss out on crucial moments of the Champions League because of minor distractions. Everyone suffers from it – from hardcore fans to ex-football players like Andrea Pirlo, leaving you feeling desolated and robbed.

The Heineken Unmissable film was broadcasted in 30 markets until now, since the UEFA Champions League is not over.
