The anthem film explores what “us” means in America, the ways in which our bonds are currently fraying, and how the Y (one of the country’s most impactful and long-standing charitable organizations) can help make them whole again. Beginning with glimpses of men and women in familiar moments across urban, rural and suburban America, the film takes viewers on a journey depicting many of the sparks of divisiveness undergirding our current culture, before ultimately demonstrating how the Y bridges these gaps in communities.
