The story begins right when Cinderella runs away from the ballroom and loses her glass slipper, once she arrives home, she stops in front of a window and stays contemplating it for a long time until she decides to start doing a series of activities which she had never done before, like killing flies, becoming the treasurer in charge of keeping some of the house's money, the lottery tickets and even a couple of letters. Finally, Cinderella ends up straightening an unbalanced table for the rest of her life. A task she wasn't created for because even though a book could have more than one use, only one is the right one
