The Vanished campaign was promoting the new tv-series with empty pages in newspapers, as if the ad itself had vanished. A few pages later, there was a separate leaflet in the same newspaper. It looked like a homemade missing person announcement, asking for information about the vanished Sara Collins, the missing star of the series. The radio commercials had vanished as well.
Outcome
As a result, the ratings stayed as high as they were with Prison Break. The campaign had vanished, but the audience was still present.
