Description

In Japan, there are certain restrictions against opinion based advertising.

Execution

With the help of the Pulsed Power Science of Kumamoto University, we succeeded in developing “Vegetable juice made with high-spec explosives”. The process of the experiment was captured in a web film and was released on a special corporate website and YouTube. In addition to that, we successfully conducted a live experiment on a streaming channel which gathered 20000 participants. The biggest challenge of this project was to develop “Vegetable juice made with high-spec explosives”. Miraculously, it took a mere 3 months to develop the prototype.

Outcome

As a result, the web movie was featured on 170 different medias around the world, and the WOM reached 3 million of which 87% gave positive feedback. It ranked 3rd place in the Yahoo! Japan Search Ranking. Kagome’s official Facebook page also gained 52% more fans.
