Following the 2016 presidential election, peaceful protests and marches have grown in number and size across the United States. The Women’s March in Las Vegas in 2018 saw hundreds of thousands of marchers participating in support of equality, diversity, and humanity. Speakers included activists, politicians, and celebrities; emotional performances were given. The passion from all participants was felt at the march, and across the nation at the sister marches. The March For Our Lives followed this year in the nation’s capital, bringing in thousands of participants who were fighting for more strict gun control laws to keep our nation safe following numerous mass shootings. Speakers included Parkland students who recently survived the latest mass school shooting the US has had to suffer through.
