Description

The click ad for "Your vote against poverty" featuring celebrities from the music industry and show business has been shown as a trailer at cinemas and on various banners online for a while. To mark the G8 Summit in Heiligendamm in June 2007, the Association of German development non-government organisations (VENRO) set itself the challenge of creating the longest click ad in history, known as the millennium ad. It was to enable as many people in Germany as possible to take part, simply and quickly, thus joining the stars in the campaign. Everyone taking part can put their video online using a video upload function. The only condition: the typical clicking in view of the camera.
