Background

Coverfox.com is an insurance portal that lets you compare policies from all the major insurance companies in the country. Coverfox noticed that many customers visited the website to check out the interface, but didn't get around to renewing their insurance policies. Since most policies expire every year, our task was to get customers to insure on Coverfox before they start getting calls from other insurance providers.

Despite receiving email reminders from insurance companies, car insurance customers often forget to renew their insurance on time, and end up paying fines. While most insurance companies send out generic email reminders, we wanted to stage an intervention that would actually make a difference, and get them to our website in time.

Execution

We created videos of a Coverfox employee telling out potential customers that he's going to help them remember to renew their insurance. We followed this with 7 videos with reminders seamlessly integrated into them. The videos followed them on Youtube over several days, and even weeks. At the same time, we flooded the internet with web banners as well, which were targeted specifically at these people. The web banners appeared in news sites, fashion portals, sports sites, and so on. No matter what website the customer chose to visit, he was never too far from our reminders.
