Fictional company 'X Industries' invested in VoIP from IBM/CISCO giving it a decisive edge over its chief competitor 'Nonesuch Inc.' who, in turn, suspect industrial espionage and contract the private detective Scott Landyard to investigate. The content of the campaign followed the latest investigative findings as they came in from Scott Landyard. So the story was kept suspenseful – involving and motivating the readers to stay on the ball.
Outcome
During the course of the campaign, 11.4% of those interested visited the homepage.The mailing won a Bronze German Dialog Marketing Award.
