Description
Volkswagen Classic takes care of the maintenance and preservation of old Volkswagen cars. We were asked to develop a calendar for vintage car lovers.
Execution
The idea behind the 2012 Calendar is to highlight what it is that makes these particular cars so worth keeping: their design, their unique distinctive lines and shapes. However, the design is visually only hinted at, the car in its fullest can solely be palpated – via a large-scale and deep embossing. Similar to the tender touch on the carriage of a vintage car lover, the observer will run his hands over the pages of the calendar. Month after month, the calendar will thereby become a haptic and – characteristical for a classical Volkswagen – a sensual experience.
