Execution

With an interactive giant poster right at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, one of the most frequented places in Germany, we raised the very emotional question “If you could only kiss one person in your life, who would it be?”.

The 1.000 square meter giant poster covered the whole entrance of the urban railway station Potsdamer Platz and a 40 square meter digital screen was integrated together with 8 touch screens, where people could take a picture while kissing.

The pictures were shown directly on the digital screen. Furthermore, people could send these photos via mail, share them on our social media platform onething.de and Facebook.

Hereby, we created a highly emotional dialog with our Target Group, which was digitally spread via social media.

Outcome

15.100 people uploaded their kiss photo on the screen and 89% of the pictures were forwarded via mail. Even German politician Sigmar Gabriel couldn't resist and shared a kiss with his little daughter.

58% of the pictures were shared at our platform onething.de and Facebook - resulting in approximately 600.000 picture views via social media.

Our interactive giant poster got a huge PR coverage in National Press and TV resulting in additional 3 million gross contacts.

A study proved, that people were emotionally engaged by our interactive giant poster - emotional bonding to the VW Golf increased by 18%.
