Delta Air Lines creates an annual holiday email message of thanks and goodwill for 4.5 million SkyMiles members. For 2012, we showcased the talent and passion of Delta employees with an engaging holiday video, Delta Wanderland.
Compared to the 2011 experience, Wanderland saw a 59% increase in the open rate—that’s 2,070,000 people. Also, Wanderland brought a 42% increase in site visits, a total of 569,000 video views and a strong completion rate of 53%. Social chatter was strong and positive, with more than 950 social likes and mentions and 129 Facebook shares upon its release.
