Description
You're young, say 18, you like the web, you play games, you like gadgets for your PC which features the latest 32Mb Pro G-Force 2 Videocard. You frequent newsgroups on funny stuff, games and PC wares, chat with your friends and play DOOM via your ISP. One day you receive an email with a cool layout, all HTML. It features a story about funny vmails and a link to this site www.funniest-vmails.com. You click it. Virus on the website you find a huge collection of great movies, that you can download and send to one of your friends. Apparently you can even add your own cool videos, either homemade or ones that you came across on the web! Uploading a movie might result in winning the ltatest MP3 player by Philips, if your movie appears to be popular. You consider putting the one with that car, but first you check out the top 10. Spreading the virus you decide to mail Jonathan this video about a girl who gets smashed on the head with the telephone guide. Nice babe by the way! You fill in his address and push the send button, simple as that. Moments later you receive a reply from your friend saying he really like it, and that he immediately went to the URL that was in the mail to see for himself, he sent his soccer team the vmail about that goalie who thre the ball in his own goal! One week later you receive that same video on a regular from Frank, one of the guy's from college. It has a blue frame around it, saying www.funniest-vmails.com. Not bad, you think. Objective was to promote use and stimulate sales of the ToUcam webcamera without mentioning the Philips brand. Target group: webbies, aged 15-24.
