Briefing: to develop promotional activity for the CeBIT fair/T - online web-hosting product 'Homepage Basic' idea. T - online announces the world’s first online cash machine filled with €1 million. Every user can withdraw €44.80 from it (= 3 months, free 'Homepage Basic').
We developed a promotional website featuring a UFO-like cash machine, CeBIT. The user ‘withdraws’ cash and ‘spends’ it by ordering 'Homepage Basic'. The user can print bank notes and cash them at CeBIT, via fax or online. The ad was primarily featured on the T - online website: viral marketing reached 230,000 unique visitors (in 10 days) with a 5000% sales increase compared to past classic advertising/direct marketing activities.
