We created the first corporate eclipse in history.How? We scheduled the homepage launch to coincide with the lunar eclipse, making everyone believe the eclipse was in fact custom-made by Yahoo! The campaign kicked-off when we sent a Yahoo! Eclipse Kit to 200 bloggers, with a recorded message from Yahoo!’s CEO, Jerry Yang. Before the launching date we created a fictitious astronomy marketing company to make people believe a corporate eclipse could really happen. A number of actions were designed to support the campaign.We were seeking for a considerable increase in the Page Views.
