Description

Ordering online or by phone is what we call as a “hygiene factor” in Turkey. Every retail company has to have it, otherwise they are out of the game. In Turkey, you can order home anything you want – food, fruit, groceries, water or even just a pack of cigarettes. However Burger King’s delivery sales were not that high compared to the restaurant sales, and Burger King wanted to balance both sales performances.

We realised that people don’t order Burger King because of a lack of awareness about the service or because the brand is not part of the repertory while they are choosing a place to order from.

Execution

One of the most home-ordering target audiance was hard- working young proffesionals. This group works long hours in business districts and they spend hours in traffic on their way back home. They decide what to eat in the mean while. Since they get home late due to the traffic, home-ordering rates are very high for this single or newly married group.

We reached out the people who get on the way back home from work and think what to eat for dinner with the work we have done.

We placed the flyers on parked cars at main business districts, close to the end of the work hours.

We conveyed our “Burger King follows you to where you go” message to our target audiance directly and in a timely manner with a distinctive work compared to our competitors.

Outcome

The results were impressive with such a low budget and a simple idea. Burger King delivery service line had received 30% more calls compared to the previous months.
