Valeo’s target group loves sports as much as its cars. Both are mainly about one thing: being entertained. The windscreen-wiper-idea uses the informal mood at a sport-stadium in an unusual, funny way. Interacting with the players on the handball-field it is not recognized as advertising – but as real entertainment.
Outcome
The target audience was successfully reached in two different ways: On the one hand the people at the stadium enjoyed Valeo’s entertaining advertising during the whole game. On the other hand many spectacular press-photos were taken. As Valeo’s advertising was not only seen in the stadium but also in different newspapers the investment was really maximised. In the weeks after the handball-game Valeo’s sales increased by 11.5 %.
