Seven Summits is a Private Label of Intersport Eybl, Austria's leading retail chainstore for sports equipment. In Autumn 2011 Seven Summits launched a new Winter Collection – co-developed and co-branded by Hermann Maier. He's a famous Austrian Skiing Legend. His terrible crash at the Olympic Wintergames in Nagano went through the international press worldwide. But only 3 days after that perilous crash he won two Olympic Gold Medals. It was a sensation.

2009 Hermann Maier retired from his career. Since then he has been taking on various new challenges, e.g. a race to the South Pole in 2011. Our TVC shows Hermann Maier preparing for a yet unknown new challenge while reflecting on his life and the lessons it teaches you, that you sometimes have to fall before you can get to the top. Bits of his former career are coming to his mind (shown in full color, while the rest is in black and white) – Nagano, the crash, the victory. But he knows best: Everything is just a matter of attitude (and equipment!). So he is ready to face his next challenge: Teaching bold, little children to ski, which is a difficult task – even for someone like Hermann Maier.
