We see a little boy riding a bike down the sidewalk. He goes by a Volkswagen Golf and is dazzled by the car. From then on, he starts wishing for a car just like that one. On his birthday, he blows out the candles and wishes for the car. When he loses a tooth, he also wishes for it. When he sees a shooting star, he wishes for the car. Then he wakes up one day and sees the car parked outside his house. But when he gets over to the Golf, he discovers that the car belongs to his mom's new boyfriend. Then he mutters to himself, "I didn't ask for a driver." The voiceover says: ³It's not just a car. It's a Golf." Close with the Volkswagen logo.
