Description

For this exciting feat, NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana, a sky diving set of athletes, Dwight Clark and Devin Supertramp came together to create epic Super Bowl content around Super Bowl 50. From 12,000 feet in the air in an airplane, Joe Montana and a team of skydivers initiated the longest touchdown known to man by jumping out of a plane carrying a football. While down below, Dwight Clark received the catch and rushed it into the end zone to score.

Execution

The epic stunt was pulled off in one shoot before the campaign was set to run on TV. From February 2 through the Super Bowl on February 7, teasers were created and placed on the brands' social media platforms to hint at what was to come from the full-length content. During the Super Bowl 50 Pre-Game show, the full video ran. Shortly after, the Behind the Scenes video and the full video lived on social media.

Outcome

With social teasers, a TV reveal that reached millions of Super Bowl 50 viewers, and a promotional campaign that followed, the World's Longest Touchdown Catch campaign spanned across platforms that ranged from digital to TV and reached over 18 million viewers.
