In Western-world countries your wedding day is supposed to be the most beautiful day of your life. Therefore, we believe every detail should be perfect. What is seen as a fairytale here, is a complete nightmare in Nepal. The majority of Nepali girls are forced into marriage under the age of fifteen. No more future is to be expected for these girls: not so happily ever after.

To create awareness for child marriage in Nepal, we seeded an online video with a recreation of the popular TV show Bridezillas with the most jaw dropping freak out moments from spoiled brides. We shocked the audience with a very painful and contrasting image of a very young Nepali girl that is about to get married off: brides behaving like children get lots of views, but children forced to behave like brides aren’t noticed at all.
