In this film we see a rather large man in his first off-campus college house. The room is exactly as you’d expect– bare, covered with fast food wrappers, and only large enough to fit a twin-sized bed. And a very squeaky one at that. We watch this man flail around in the bed that is almost comically small for him and certainly would not fit a mate if he were to find one. He flops around for what feels like far too long in an awkward, invasively intimate scene. It creates a feeling of boring real-ness to the point of absurdity.
