"Beso" (transl. "Kiss") is a song written and recorded by Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía and Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Rauw Alejandro for their collaborative extended play, RR (2023). The video shows the two playfully engaging in life on and off the road, in studio and out, enjoying their time together in a sultry, dreamy narrative. The video has reached the top of the charts and garnered over 37 million views to date.

The strategy was to release a collaboration track, plus share intimate, raw, phone footage from the couple. Simultaneously announcing their new music release and engagement to the public, was an impactful strategy that brought together their community of fans, while also making headlines across many news outlets.
Describe the creative idea
The idea was to use existing footage of Rosalia and Rawu being themselves, traveling together, being on tour, being apart, and showing the true and intimate details of their relationship for the first time - while also showcasing their partnership in music, by releasing a new music collaboration. As the music video concludes, the big reveal is the couples real-life engagement.
Describe the craft & execution
The edit was comprised of only pre-existing personal phone footage from both Rosalia and Rawu. Hours of super intimate footage was compiled and edited into a very real, very raw music video. The editor also had the full creative freedom to select through their personal phone footage and showcase their love through these raw moments, all culminating to the the big reveal of their engagement with the world.
Describe the results
Once the video premiered, all the news outlets were picking up the story, linking the video and discussing the innovative reveal. The video is also being played on tour at every concert around the world, while Rosalia and Rawu perform, making this work a lot more visible than a typical music video. Currently, it has accumulated 37 million views in less than a month of it's release (3 weeks to date).
