BriefExplanation
To promote its exhibit of ancient Greek artifacts, The Field Museum took a page from the Greeks themselves and built a Trojan Horse. One of Chicago's main subway entrances was transformed with the mythological Trojan horse, in the spirit and craftsmanship of the Ancient Greeks, sparking interest in and driving locals and visitors to the museum’s exhibit. This buildout provided transit riders and passersby with an up-close and personal experience with a great wonder of the ancient world. The installation created an incredible brand experience and social currency, a multitude of media attention, countless photos and social shares as well as increased visitation to the museum.
