Brand communication film for Toyota's sports car brand "GR."

This film captures the extreme movements of cars competing in various events such as the WRC, Dakar Rally, and 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is filmed in super slow motion from an extremely close distance, akin to capturing the movements of wild animals.

Background:

After six years since its inception, GR has finally achieved eight championships in the top category of global motorsports this year. This brand movie has been created as a testament to the quality of that accomplishment.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the cinematography.

Our significant challenge was not relying on digital techniques like zoom-in used in racing films but rather emphasizing how closely the racing car and the camera could physically interact. It was a collaboration of precision driving skills at the millimeter level and shooting techniques with the same precision.

The film portrays the movements of industrial products (the cars), as if they are beautiful wild animals living in the natural world, creating an immersive experience in the footage.
