Execution
We created a mobile website - designed as a mobile-only experience, made for touch. Users were invited to visit the site/app via a mobile ad campaign that targeted Android users using Chrome. The site was carefully optimised to perform across Android devices, of which there are many in India.
Tap or pinch to dive into an immersive 3D space, navigating through 25 famous monuments. Select a monument and ask the prompted question. The app responds immediately with a spoken answer and supporting knowledge card.
We combined Chrome’s Voice Recognition and Speech Synthesis APIs to mirror Google’s conversational Voice Search experience.
Outcome
We engaged over 1M users with the 25 Wonders of India mobile web app, each spending on average more than 1 minute exploring and interacting with the site and trying out the Voice Search feature.
Following launch we saw a sharp uplift in mobile search activity and Voice Search queries.
