Elvis Presley, known mononymously as "Elvis," is a staple of Americana and American rock music. Throughout the film, memorabilia that pays homage to his clothing, music, hometown, and hair can be spotted.

The Elvis song, "There's Always Me" is not as widely known as his some of greatest hits, but holds special meaning in the context of our film: one of true, unconditional companionship. While connections are being forged around with world with the help of group FaceTime, this song presents itself as a nostalgic backdrop to those relationships, new and old. We chose to create a cover of this song to allow for many characters around the globe to become part of Elvis' story. The instrumentation of this song utilizes the original Elvis recording, adapted to fit the film and new vocalists. We also choose to add instrumentation that reflects the guitars and other stringed instruments as played by our diverse cast of Elvis impersonators on screen.
