We filmed 1000 clips of ingredients, techniques, shakes, muddles, pours and strains. The building blocks of any drink. Our software consists of two steps. The first step integrates with Absolut's drink database (addb.absolutdrinks.com). This database contains drink recipes in a structured form in different languages. In this step each mixing step is mapped to one of the pre-recorded video clips using a rule-based system that takes glass, existing ingredients inside the container, color mixing and many other factors into account. There are over 60 000 unique mixing steps in the database each one of them need to be mapped to one of the 1000 recorded clips.

The next step is to compose all referenced video files, along with overlay mixing instruction texts and audio into a single video file (including subtitle files for other languages). This generator downloads the drink image grades it, and inserts it in the polaroid frame of the video.

There is also an optional component that manages large bulks of video uploads to Youtube.
