To achieve this, we designed our new platform with a search-based approach that is fundamentally different from competitors, and a responsive design that provides the same user experience across all devices—laptops, tablets and mobile devices. Further, we wanted to bring our exclusive insights and client success stories to life through engaging, easily sharable video, infographics and imagery.
From the outset, the accenture.com program was disruptive—intended to make use of leading technology, content and digital trends. Specifically, our creative idea called for creating a platform that would bring our marketing content to life through engaging video, infographics and imagery. And we would design the site so that it would be easy to share content via social media, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Execution
To present this shorter, more snackable content, Marketing worked with a creative design agency on the look and feel of the new pages. The site design went to a vertical orientation to fit the way individuals scroll through and interact with content on the variety of mobile devices they use today. And the new site leveraged a bold approach to navigation, eschewing traditional drop-down menus in favor of a search-driven approach that would enable users to locate information from any point on any page simply by typing a search query.
In addition, the new website delivers: content in more than 10 languages; a responsive design accommodating multiple screen sizes; and optimal search results.
