Background

To rebuild and grow their economy, Ukraine needs more than just donations. They need the longterm commitment of strong investors. Not sometime after the war, but now. So we proposed an integrated Campaign to the Ukrainian government to address the global financial community.

Idea

Unlike countless charity-campaigns, we do not try to evoke sympathy. Instead, we speak the language of investors, with clear, hard messages that draw their attention to the unique opportunities Ukraine has to offer.

Strategy

To get investor's attention, we focused the campaign on financial centers, including events at the NYSE and the World Economic Forum in Davos, where we ensured the support of top-level spokespeople like President Zelensky for maximum PR effectiveness.

Execution

On our initiative, President Zelenskyy was invited to give a speech and ring the bell to symbolically open trade - and kicking off a wave of PR and communication across 18 countries. The vice minister of commerce took the stage of Ukrainian House at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Ads with provocative messages appeared in major financial publications, (D)OOH in financial centers around the world, including New York, Washington, London, Frankfurt, Warzaw, Prague, Tokyo. All communication leads to a website with hundreds of available investment projects from a variety of industries.

Outcome

Within less than 6 months, more than 500 investors applied for projects. More than 50 projects with a total volume of more than 8.6 billion dollars are already in the pipeline for implementation.
