Description

The “nextwall” is an interactive graffiti wall. It is intended to take interactive outdoor advertising to the next level and to discover fresh, creative talent.The newest technologies for interactive outdoor advertising are being tested: QR codes, Bluetooth and object recognition send visitors videos, digital vouchers and the comments of other visitors to their mobiles.What’s in it for the agency? The press and numerous blogs continuously report on the wall and arouse curiosity about Jung von Matt/next – in both creative talents and in companies interested in innovative advertising.

Execution

In April 2007, a wall was painted by five world-renowned graffiti artists. New creative ideas and technologies for interactive outdoor advertising has been tested on it: QR codes, Bluetooth and object recognition send visitors videos, digital vouchers and the comments of other visitors to their mobiles.Technologies like “Augmented Reality” are also being experimented with. At a graffiti performance, virtual graffiti are “sprayed” live into empty space. The video documentation is creating a sensation on video platforms and blogs worldwide.A website provides more detailed information. In addition, a blog presents international, creative out-of-home benchmarks.
