Description
The third installment of the campaign promoted Do Something magazine, and featured a poor soul called Ian in a film titled ‘’Aftermath’. Ian tried to do everything in the magazine and weekend papers. Ian failed. Ian should have used them in moderation, because there’s just too much to read and do for one human being.
Execution
The casting for this was very special because we got to cast one of our
favourite art directors, in the role of the patriarch of
the family who's driven insane. He's lovely and I don't know if we did it
because we secretly wanted to see him go crazy or maybe because we've seen
evidence that it's possible to drive him up the wall. In fact, I suspect
he was acting during the first scene more so than in the last. He was
asked to pull all the art direction together in only a week and on the
last possible filming day before Christmas. Anyway, we were thrilled to
use him and we've heard that he's been offered a few acting gigs on the
back of our spot.
The mother and daughter were cast in a fairly traditional way.
