To produce foie gras, in Belgium each year ten thousands of ducks and geese are brutally force-fed until their liver is ten times its normal size.Nevertheless foie gras is very popular during the festive season. Animal rights organisation GAIA wanted to discourage consumers from putting this cruel dish on their menu.

Instead of torturing real geese by eating foie gras, we encouraged people to torture fictitious geese. Several interactive media invited people to do so. Every medium had the same message: Don’t eat foie gras. And if you absolutely want to torture a goose, torture this one.
