online ad for AT&T services featuring James Van Der Beek

Execution

We launched a satirical social series videos that closely aligned with broadcast TV spots to which James joked of getting special treatment. The series posted on Twitter and Facebook, and James Van Der Beek spoke directly to camera with his satirical tips from wearing sunglasses at all times to ensuring you had hair people with you at all times. The aim of all videos was to use the existing celebrity persona of James Van Der Beek in an engaging way that elevated the brand and spread the news of the offer.

Outcome

Overall, the how-to series performed well on both Facebook and Twitter. “Slow-Mo” performed above benchmark for engagement rates.
