Dirk Nowitzki has redefined what a European basketball player can achieve. From humble beginnings in provincial Germany, he has risen to become a NBA star and a national hero. Our task was to use Dirk's success to help cement his status as a Nike icon in Germany, revitalising Nike's European basketball business, helping it become the No.1 basketball brand in Germany.
