Description
Big Bazaar, a popular supermarket chain in India, wanted to inform people about their Annual Office Stationery Sale.
Execution
To promote an office stationery sale, we used, well, office stationery. Stapler pins and push pins, to be more precise. 1,60,000 stapler pins and 31,500 push pins were used to create two innovative installations. Set up just outside Big Bazaar, they not only effectively cued in what the sale was about but also pinned passersby in their tracks because of their novelty.
Outcome
Big Bazaar’s target was to achieve around 2 lakh footfalls over the course of the week-long sale. Within 4 days of putting up the installations, more than 3 lakh people walked into the sale.
