Outcome

The objective for the exercise was to get more youngsters take up reading.

The response so far has been good. We have had more youngsters coming to our bookstore than ever.

The quantifiable results were that the three books that the stories were based upon saw an increase in sales too.We sold 156 copies of 'Lord of the Rings', 112 copies of '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' and 49 copies of 'The Communist Manifesto' from November to January. These figures are far more than the usual sales of these books.
