We used a well-known toy to dramatise how powerful and easy to handle this professional chainsaw is. Well timed for an international trade fair in 2005, we produced the “Bosch Push-Puppets” and Bosch passed it to interested retailers in exchange for their business cards. If they pressed the button at the bottom, the trees were cut down and a lumberjack stayed standing, holding a Bosch Chainsaw in his hands. A message at the bottom completed this promotion-tool: “High performance. Easy to use.”
Outcome
In the comparison to last year's fair, Bosch generated 14% more quality business contacts.
