ANA decided to bring together the people and the athletes in another way. They put out a call to the public for different ‘cheering poses’ based on the Olympians’ events. Then, stop motion footage was shot to create a film that connected everybody’s ‘cheering poses’ with the three athletes. People who saw the news through SNS jumped at this opportunity to support their athletes and, ANA was able to receive around 2,000 poses, which was more than we expected.

Outcome

- People who saw the news of "cheering poses" through SNS jumped at this opportunity to support their athletes and, ANA was able to receive around 2,000 poses.

- The stop motion footage was watched by people all over Japan as a TV commercial during the Sochi Olympics,and succeeded in raising awareness of ANA as a supporter of the Japan team.

- With everyone’s support behind them, the athletes could give their best performance.
