Description
Promote the Match for Africa and thereby maximize the donations. Promotion video of the two players: Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. From previous projects we knew that Roger has a hard time staying serious when the cameras are rolling. So we decided to put him and Nadal in front of the camera. Voilà!
- Over 2 million clicks on YouTube.- More than 30,000 unique visitors to the microsite.- Media impressions equivalent to CHF 3,600,000 with real spending of 0.–- Match sold out within 5 minutes.- CHF 2,500,000 in donations.- Credit Suisse as the main sponsor was all-present.
Execution
From previous projects we knew that Roger Federer has a hard time staying serious when the cameras are rolling. As soon as the cameras start rolling, he starts giggling like a kid and ruins most of the takes as a result.
So we decided to put him and Nadal in front of the camera and just let the scene play itself out. Both Federer and Nadal did their best in front of the camera but they didn’t manage to get a single usable take. Voilà!
